Lately I was going to a chiropractor, cute girl, liked to talk (well part of her job of course but nonetheless). She asked basic stuff like what do you do, how was your weekend,...

My answers respectively were my job and "good". Nothing more. Sometimes I asked how was your weekend but it was with this intonation of just asking her because I wanted to be a mystery and try to let her talk more about herself.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to seduce her, I just tried it for practice, but it was so artificial. My questions were stupid, I couldn't ask follow up questions,...

Honestly I give up. I tried and I tried, nothing gets better. Yes never give up, but sometimes you just can't anymore.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

This chick was at work, in a work setting where it's not exactly conducive to carrying on a conversation. Did you ask her out? Or just try and talk your way into her pants?? That never works btw.

I didn't wanted to ask her out. I tried to take this as a learning experience, to try to improve my social skills, but it didn't work. I am like this in any setting.
