"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I don't feel the need to ask girls out for some reason, I'm not gay, I'm straight, it's just something I don't really do, of course I look at girls but nothing goes beyond that, I'm 18 and a freshman in college but I really doubt I'm getting a girlfriend before I graduate from college, and I've never had sex of course. I'm really not experienced with girls, I've only asked one girl out in my adolescence and I waited a long time to do it and it was only because I had been friends before and had got to know her, she said no of course, but we're still friends today, that was about a year and a half ago. I see nice looking girls here, generally Asians, but I just don't ever get to talk them and don't ever consciously think about asking them out. Getting married isn't a goal in my life, if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. It just seems weird that I'm like this because all my friends have had sex and have had or have girlfriends and I'm the only one of the friends who generally doesn't talk about girls. Why am I like this?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Maybe you have other priorities that are more pressing than women. This is the way i was/am. However, being able to communicate and seduce women is a necessary skill, so I suggest learning it. Even if you don't want women now, you will in the future, and hopefully at that time you have enough experience to attract and date quality women.

You're on no one's timetable but your own, Deicide. Just make sure that you're making your decisions for the reasons you choose, and not trying to justify inaction. However, I will say that this may be a time like no other for you to meet women and have some fun...and I'm guessing from your name that you aren't choosing abstinence for religious reasons.

Amen. You are making excuses for yourself and you actually believe them for some reason. Just admit you are scared of rejection or a relationship and overcome those fears.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Maybe you don't have much of a sex drive. That's alright, just chill. You only need sex if you want it, that's sort of the whole point. Don't try to mack chicks because you think you "should."

No, I'm an atheist that listens to death metal and Deicide is my favorite death metal band.
