"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Met this girl 1 week after she got out of a 4 yr relationship with a verbally and sometimes physically abusive boyfreind. Had first date 1 month later. Her IL was sky high... I was taking things slow, playing it right, but then she kept trying to hang out all the time, and we started to feel like a couple. She was scared to be my girlfreind because she thought her ex would try to fight me. Anyway, after 3 weeks of knowing her, she said i love you and wants to be my girlfreind. I knew it was too soon, but let it happen anyway.
Soon after, her mood changed completely. She started acting crazy. We would have small fights, and she would say she hated me and didnt really love me, next day she would apologize. This happened quite a few times. This whole time she was always saying "you don't really like me much, your too good for me etc..." Then she said that she feels like she "has to be with her ex, because of the crazy **** he said to her" He told her she wont go anywhere with out him, etc...and she really believes this idiot.
I keep seeing more signs she is still into him. Then she says she misses the way he treated her...tat he kissed the ground she walked on and worshipped her, something I dont do. She said part of her wants him back, but she doesnt even like him, just how he treated her. She started saying we jumped into this too soon and she had no time to breathe, I agreed. She wanted time to clear her head and get him out of her mind. She kept telling me I was too good for her. Eventually I said that she was right and I left.
I think I did the right thing. I treated her very good actually, but was not over the top because we had only known each other two months. I think I deserved better so i got out. But some people have told me that I didn't try hard enough, so I'm kind of having second thoughts. I just don't want this relationship to end because of me not trying, but I really don't think thats the case, as any normal girl would see that I liekd her.
In my opinion, she was just too screwed up from her ex, as she even said she was. She claims she doesnt love him, but still kind of wants him back for the baove stated reasons. This right there tells me she is f^cked! So I got out, and she kept contacting me. I told her do not call me again...so eventually she stopped.
Do you guys think this was the right thing? I feel silly even asking it, as i know i did the right thing, so maybe this is more to vent than anything else. Thanks guys! and sorry for the long post.

yea definately the right choice, emotionally unstable girls like this will always cause problems for you in the end.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Yeah bro you DEFINITELY handled this situation correctly! The simple fact is she wants a CHUMP who she can control. If you add that this chick is whacked in the head (who tells someone they love them 3 weeks in to dating???) and probably comes from a terrible family background is even more of a reason to stay away. These girls have destructive habits that will eventually creep into your life the longer your with her.

Keep moving forward and never look back.

trying 2 play, you absolutely did the right thing. You did nothing wrong.

This may be un-PC but you cannot waste your time and energy on these "damaged" women. If they have been with an abusive BF or abused as a child - get rid of them. I genuinely feel sorry for them, but they have been screwed up since childhood or they have become addicted to the "high" that comes from these type of experiences.

I could tell you how to keep her - but why would you want to ruin your life with the constant drama she would put you through.

It is normal for you to feel a sense of loss at the moment. These type of women are experts at providing an emotional high - they are like a drug. However, the lows that they bring you to are too high a price to pay.

Be proud of yourself for recognizing the situation for what it was and ending it.
