1. Maybe she lied on the first date because she liked you and she knew you wanted children. But how she feels bad for misleading you
2. Maybe she told the truth on the first date and is lying to you now because she knows you will not stay with a woman that doesn't want kids. Maybe she doesn't want children from you but with someone else. Anyway you must decide her truthfulness by the sincerity in her tone and response.

It could be one of two things:
1. She REALLY doesn't want marriage and/or kids... is she a career woman?
2. She doesn't want marriage and/or kids with you...
Either way, if that is what you are looking for, then you are wasting your time. Wind back the relationship a little bit, make it more light-hearted and fun, stay away from the serious issues. Keep her around while you find another woman. It's a lot easier to get another girl when you already have one.
Also, if you tell new prospective women that you broke up with the last girl because she didn't want marriage/kids, you will scare a few of them off, even though they may be looking for the same thing... too serious too fast.
