"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Recently I've noticed a rather alarming behavior that I often act out. Whenever I start getting close to a girl, I immediately lose a degree of interest and start getting restless and wanting to find other girls. Now, normally that would be somewhat of a good thing. But because of this behavior I've never really been able to commit to someone for an extended period of time. It's always been "**** and flight" for me basically. I really want to try and get into a somewhat open relationship...still get to meet other people on the side but still have something steady going on.

The girl I'm with now is great. Great personality, cute, and willing to drive up an hour every other time to see me. But now that I've been "with" her, I feel like I want to give her up. I don't know why I feel this way, but it's almost like my brain refuses to accept the fact that I may just be getting into an LTR and will try anything to mess it up for me. Sounds weird, but it happens everytime and I want it to stop. I just want to know that I have the ability to go the extra step...or maybe I just havent found the right girl. Anyways, part of this is some venting, some advice requesting. Anyone experience something like this and have any good stories/advice?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ya I have the same thing as well, I call it emily ****enson syndrome. Its like you think having a LTR will be a great thing, hanging out with her at your place, just kicking back having fun, etc. Yet as you get to know her you completly loose interest and wanna find someone else.
