I always quit get lazy after a week or so and when i do i dont last long...

I dont know why it is but i always make up my mind to work out so when i do ill workout and keep working out but when a week or 2 passes by i get lazy and stop for like a month then i start again, how can i get rid of this problem?

And when im working out i only last for like 30 minutes why is that i know that i can go longer i would like to workout like 1 or 2 hrs or in between non less, but everytime i look at the clock it seems like time aint moving.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

Start with the end in mind as they say.

You've got to know WHY you really want to do it. Focus on that. Think of how confident you will be if you are in shape. How girls will drool all over you. And how you feel when you have actually achieved something.

It's like anything else. Make a plan, commit to completing it.

Now, the other thing is KNOWLEDGE of your subject. Really get into reading about training, talk to people about their sucesses and how they achieved them.

You don't say what training, but if it's weights your don't want to be training for more than 45mins anyway and you can easily make huge progress on a 3 day a week program. So it ain't that bad after all.

Most people don't know this (or don't want to accept it) if you are truely training full bore for a month to 6 weeks, you are gonna stop progressing. That's probably is why you stop because you get disheartened when the gains dry up.

The answer is to take a few days off. Drop the weight down about 10% on everything and start again, with the same lifts.

Next month you will easily surpass your last top poundages.

Why not start a log here, that will give you added motivation

yeah thanx, i think u described my problem it seems like when i reach a certain point i stop seeing progress and i just quit.

so 45 minutes a day?? shoot that sounds great.

NO!

For weights 3-4 days a week max. Other days rest or do calisthenics or 20mins aerobics.

Think long term. Do too much and you'll go stale and quit. Have a plan for the next year, break that down to a 3month plan.

Read up on weight training, ignore bodybuilding mags advice, it's all fairy tale stuff.
