Crap, the hurricane isn't even here yet (suburbs of NYC) and already my lights are blinking. It's windy out but the full brunt won't be till later.

I would think it probably will be cancelled because the storm will be in full force at that time. Where upstate are you? PM me, unless you'd rather not, which is perfectly fine. I'm just curious, nothing more.

Where I live weather modification is often everyday reality. Putin comes to Sochi rain goes away and is replaced by sun and UV that burns your skin up, and it's like a dump truck took a sh't on your car, whatever the shi't they spraying it's on it.

Thought, I know on the other side of the globe, in a lager called america weather modification is a conspiracy theorist myth. Can you just imagine those poor idiots, what kind of brain washing been done to them. Poor bastards.

Oh, we're modifying the weather all right. Last year, the midwest had a 100-year flood. This summer it was a 60-year drought. The arctic ice cap is almost completely gone in summer. Now Sandy will be the biggest storm to hit the US in recorded history.

The good news about global warming is that we're fvcked no matter what we do. China already has double the greenhouse gas emissions of the US. The developed world can't seem to control its emissions, but that's ok, because the developing world is set to become a bigger polluter, anyway.

Even if the flat-Earthers who deny global warming are correct, and this is some natural cycle that humans have nothing to do with, then the ultimate answer is still the same - we're fvcked.

im in CT and they already started evacuating along the coast line. This storm is going to be lame. I heard NYC is going to get hit really hard.

there doesn't seem to be any stellar evidence saying that humans are causing climate change.

The only scientists who would agree would be an extreme fringe. I'm not a climatologist, but when 99% of them agree on something, it's probably true. However, like I said, if we're past the tipping point, causation is a pointless debate, anyway. Our future is floods, droughts, and mega-storms.
