"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I mailed her and said 'Let's meet at mine then take it from there'.
Good move, but I would have been interested to see her response to going dutch. Next time trust your gut instinct and act on it, then write a post afterward and tell us how your move worked out. I don't think you needed advice here.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hey guys,

Well first of all the girl from yesterday came round today and we spent a great afternoon together. I made up for yesterday's lousy performance (if you haven't read the other thread I basically lasted 3 minutes. Put that right today).

So I'm feeling extremely relaxed right now, lol. I probably will end up going to that restaurant with her but unless it's clear we are going back to mine afterwards then she is picking up her half of the cheque whether she knows it or not.

I'll let you know how it goes and whether I pvssy out when the bill comes and there's that awkwardness with her just sitting there expecting me to pay. I can face this down though.

Update.

I went on the date last night in the end. The food was excellent and much more reasonable than I thought it would be. She also ordered cheaper dishes. She wasn't trying to order the most expensive stuff or loads of wine by any means. I paid however.

We went to a bar afterwards. Some light kissing, nothing much.

At the end of the date she said she wanted us to go to a late night cafe and chill there. I basically said we should go back to my place. She told me 'not tonight'. I was like, 'Come on are you serious?!'. She said she was so I just said 'Ok, whatever' then left.

I wasn't planning on contacting her again. I just got this message from her:

''Hi Y,

thank you for the last night. I had a great time.

One thing I should tell you that I am not seeking immediate intimacy so if you are only expecting that I am not the one. and i don't want to be in that pressure all the time. I hope you can understand".

At the end of the date I had just sort of assumed she was somebody that wanted to be taken on dates to nice restaurants, etc. I still think that may well be the case. I'm also not really down for this whole 'I'm not going to have sex with you for ages' BS. I'd really expect fo f*ck any girl on the third date at the latest.

It is nice hanging out with her and I find her attractive. But I really would expect there to be some physical contact and then after that we can decide whether we should become a bit more serious.

Anyway thanks for the advice. On balance I had a nice time and really enjoyed the food but I did end up paying and not getting anything so it probably wasn't worth it."
