ok i bought a pair of shoes the other day at journeys.

that place is ****ing dim as hell i couldn't see **** when i was looking at the shoes but when i got home i noticed this nice stain on the most noticeable part of the shoe wow.

ok i've already taken a walk around in the shoes (shoot me) so i decided hey what the hell, lets try to clean it. (yes i'm sure the stain was there when i bought it, i remotely remember something catching my eye as i took it outa the box) well cleaning didn't work too well -_-

This is normal for cloth/suede shoes - you made it worse!!! Just put more chemicals on them and they wiil be totally marked!!!!

1-Go back to the store with the shoes & the sales slip.

2-Hold out the sales slip and say: "I'm not happy with these shoes. I want to return them."

3-Clerk says: Hey what about this spot?"

4-You say: That was from PLAIN WATER! The dye faded almost instantly! The quality on these shoes are horrible! I think it must be a manufacture's defect. You should get your money back from them!"

5-The clerk says: "Ummm, yeah. Here's your money."

6- You say "THANK YOU!" and procede to have a nice day

4-You say: That was from PLAIN WATER! The dye faded almost instantly! The quality on these shoes are horrible! I think it must be a manufacture's defect. You should get your money back from them!"

5-The clerk says: "Ummm, yeah. Here's your money."

6- You say "THANK YOU!" and procede to have a nice day

Of course you can!! Where's your DJ confidence? You'll do fine! Just reamin calm, yet firm about getting your money back. Most places have NO problem with it.

I'd be careful doing that. They catch you on camera and you're $crewed.

One option I see though, is go to the store, buy the exact same pair of shoes. Walk out, switch the shoes in the box for the ones you have. Walk right back in, and say you chaged your mind. Considering the purchase is about 10-20 minutes old, no one is gonna really care about the stain, if the ask, then.."oh, must've spilled water.. i dropped my water bottle."

Still, most likely, considering how quickly you come back, no one is gonna care. Though I would reccoemend using a different clerk.
