And, to be frank, I'm just going to say that I don't know how this works in black families. I know that most white girls are "best friends" with their moms. If it's the same way, then her mom will hear a lot about her and the dates, and, depending on their level of trust, maybe about the details: sex and intimacy. Just make sure she has good things to say to her mom. She most likely won't tell her everything. Firstly because she shouldn't have much to tell her; you need to be mysterious. Secondly because it'll just be happy, girly rambling that basically just tells her mom that she really likes you and "you're a good guy."

I was expecting a different family when I got there. It turns out that her mom is Spanish and her dad is White. She is one of 6 children. It's obvious to me that she's adopted.
