"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

My results are up and down. Sometimes this stuff comes okay to me, and other times it's as if I have no idea of what I'm doing.

This past weekend I'm at a bar with some friends, enjoying myself, and a good looking girl hits eye contact with me. We hold for a couple of seconds, I think we break at the same time or I break first (doh!) - I know she is looking back a couple times throughout the night, and yet I can't find my balls to walk the length of the room to introduce myself.

Help me guys, I'd like to hear from someone who has found themselves in a situation like this and learned how to get over the fear/anxiety/whatever was holding them back.

This seems easier if I'm all jumpy and jovial, but so much harder if I'm relaxed and just lounging with friends...

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Guess you do not want to get laid bad enough.. You can lead a horse to water but can not make it drink.. In times like this goto the rest room look yourself in the mirror and pump yourself up. Say "I can do this, she wants me" etc....

Yes, Great reference post realsmoothie

wanderlust420, you should always try to live by the 3 second rule
which simply states that you should approach a girl within 3 seconds.

The 3 second rule is setup to make you approach without worrying about the outcome.

You are worried about rejection.

Check out my DJ Bible post On rejection
