Hi Guys,
maybe you can help me out on this one: Yesterday, I was representing the (quite elite) student organisation I am working for on a fair on campus. Right across the hallway where the booths were situated was the booth of another organisation, let's call it "A". The overall attendance of the fair was not very high, so I had time to occupy myself with something else:
One of the Students (a m/f-mixed team) working for "A" was a HB9 (honestly), so I immediately switched into DJ mode and went over to introduce myself, as we would be spending at least a couple of hours looking at each other from across the hallway
Everything went quite okay, she turned out to be very nice and down-to-earth. We found out that we had a lot in common and had a couple of interesting conversations, of course sometimes interrupted by students coming to either one's booth.
Unfortunately, she was suddenly gone to get something, and just did not return. I had another appointment and had to leave and left the hallway toward the exit. There she stood, talking to an older guy, obviously in order to get an internship or something. I did not want to interrupt their conversation too much, so I just touched her on the shoulder slightly and said something like "Goodbye, see you around." She smiled and said something similar.
Afterwards I was quite mad at myself for not asking any kind of number/email from her. But maybe there is still hope:
A Girl in my organisation knows her from class and sees her on mondays and tuesdays (that's 6 days from now). I could either ask her for that Girl's number, or have her give her a message or something.
The other possibililty is that I write an email to her organisation's office, asking them for some means of communication, while making it look like it's a professional, not a personal affair I have to settle
Also, I could show up at one of their club meetings (also 6 days from today) and try to talk to her again.
Although I'm quite sure that I made a good impression on her, I don't know if 6 days won't be too long for her to remember me the way I deserve to be remembered
What could I do to save a screwed up #-close? This one is definitely worth it.
