"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hey all,

So I recently started dating a friend who I could tell was a pretty needy/insecure girl, she's pretty ugly by societies standard's. But I really liked her, she stroked my ego a ton and I thought I could "fix her" (mistake), so I opened up to her and got really romantic. She seemed innocent, but my god the sex is ****ing incredible. For the past 6 months we've gone through the classic honeymoon period, we thought we were so in love and everything was perfect.

The problem is, I can feel the power shifting and I can feel myself being needy/beta around her. In the beginning, I was pretty confident and felt in control of the situation. Since the sex, it's starting to become apparent that she is controlling me. I didn't realise, but she is an absolute master at playing social games. She lies all the time and can act super interested in what anyone has to say, although I suppose that's most women.

Help me out. I really want to carry the sex/attraction on, but I feel like I'm losing it by being too close. It's long distance but we still say "I love you" every night. Is it possible for me to become a bit more distant now and make her want me like she used to, or should I just break it off entirely? The ideal situation would be to somehow transition to a friends with benefits type thing. She still describes me as mysterious and I realise that is important to maintain, so I don't know if I can use that to my advantage?

Thanks a lot for any advice

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Get another girl or 2 to have sex with on a regular basis. Bang. You're not so needy now.

What do you mean by "sounds two faced"?

I'll try and talk to more women to ease my ego, but I'm supposed to be going travelling with this girl for 3 weeks and I'm worried the relatioship's going to crumble. I know i have to be more assertive with her and I can tell she's losing respect for me. Do you think it would be kosher for me to just push hard and say "I don't want a relationship right now. Can we do something more casual?" Right now we're playing the whole "let's not label it, we're just really great friends who have sex/are in love" but everything we do is becoming LTR and mundane. How do I keep her obsessed with me, other than trying to DJ? Part of me is trying to protect my heart as I've developed oneitis and the thought of her banging other dudes is literally unbearable (to the point where I think about what she's hiding from me, she claimed she was a virgin but no blood and she's hypersexual)

This is so ****ty, I literally lost all my power and confidence after I became infatuated with her. It's literally giving me health problems.

I want to be the 'bad boy' that I really am for her and just satisfy her sexually, I'm terrible at long term relationships and I think a lot of it is to do with the blow to my ego at the thought of not being a prime sexual partner for her (as you become in LTRs), we've been together 6 months now
