How to react when the one you like tells you..

Hi fellow djs,

How does one react one the person your interested in tells you that there are two guys wooing her. Also, I'm pretty sure she knows I like her. Thanks guys.

"How do you know they even like you?"

Make her qualify herself to you, but don't do it in a mean way. If she tells you a little about each, focus on the things she doesn't like and playfully tell her stuff like, "He sounds like you're type", "You should give him a chance", etc.

More than anything, she is looking to see how you react. She's trying to qualify you, and see how much you're into her. $hit test, if there ever was one. If you do it right, she will be the one on the defense, jumping your hoops, and qualifying herself to you. She will be the one selling herself on the reasons why she is not interested in those guys, and your value will increase.

That's a major sh!t test. Here are two options:

Tell her that the other guy and her make a cute couple, and then go talk to a different girl.

or

Act surprised that there is only one other guy after her. Laugh, and say, "Really? I've got like half a dozen girls after me."

Yep, nothing but a b!tch test. They are going to do this even if you're married for 10 years. DO NOT GET MAD OR IRRITATED. SHE WILL WIN IF YOU DO. Do as these other posters have said. All she's doing is trying to get you to act jealous.

I recently had one I'm interested in tell me all about this guy in a bar recently invited her to his hotel room. I just laughed and said "Ha Ha looks like Amber (her name) got laid!!" I assume this was a sh!t test since we arre both intersted in eachother. Thought I handled that one quite well!

Use a mixed response, not jealous but not too happy about it either. Prize yourself and make her see it's in her best interest to ditch the extras.

Something like:

"Yeh? I'm not sure I like that...the last thing I want is some hopeless admirer calling you when we're having fun...you may have one of those annoying ringtones...if you wanna experience me properly, I'm gonna expect your full attention..."

"well sir, if you want to buy this car its going to have to be soon, i've got two other eager buyers. so what's it going to be?"

"You've got two other eager buyers? hmmm, if they really want the car I'll pass. there were a couple of other cars I was looking at earlier today that I really liked as well"

"well..umm....hold on a second now. You know I like you. Tell you what I'll do. I'll knock 1,000 bucks off just for you. what do you say? deal?"

"hmmm, make it 2,000 and its a deal."

"really? i never knew."

"sure. you're great. i mean, there are a few other women who are pretty neat also that i like, but you're definitely cool."

"aww thanks djnles."

at this point she'll take over and try to sell you the car. it will be up to you whether you buy or not.

UNLESS she's a better negotiator than you, in which case she'll start telling you how she's going to go out with these guys. to which you say...

"let me know how it goes."

[and walk off the lot at this point - be totally cool about it, like you're off to look at other cars.]
