I'm not a massage therapist and a couple months ago I had like 3 or 4 girls waiting in line for neck/back/shoulder massages. Now this girl coming over tomorrow is more or less begging me for one. If you want to get some advice, the internet is amazing. The main thing is to be firm and maintain contact, yet not overly assertive. Figure out how hard you should go by massaging your own trap (muscle by the neck on top of your back) with the opposite hand. If it hurts, don't massage so hard. Once you get it down, you'll begin to automatically know how "hard" to massage.

Also, don't stay in the same spot or keep the same motion going continuously. Mix it up a little bit. Changes things up and keeps the pleasure going without getting redundant.
