Regardless of how serious you may or may not think this virus is, damn near everything is shut down where I live (Delaware).

I'll be out of work, along with tons of other people. I'm not able to work from home and I can't imagine companies are hiring people to work from home during such a time.

I have a friend who works for Vanguard and deals with stocks and she's had an extremely rough time dealing with people lately with downturn, so that might be something to look into.

But otherwise, I don't know. I don't really have expenses right now outside of student loans (which will hopefully get pushed back during this) so I just wanted to see if anybody has found a way to keep themselves afloat without needing to file for unemployment or auction off toilet paper.

Not really sure what to expect to read here, hopefully I'll be surprised.

Buy a gallon of physan 20 for 60 bucks and a pump sprayer. Business will pay you to spray the walkways.

"Naturally antibacterial". Now that is one sexy slogan!
Too bad Covid-19 is a virus though.

Door Dash.
A friend of mine has been out of work (he was a waiter) and is making an avg. of $15.00 an hr. He works long days and is staying afloat.

The opportunity for e-commerce with anything related to anti-viral, immune-boosting, shelter-in-place fitness would be a no-brainer.

Yeah man, it's bad. I'm a musician on the side to bring in some extra income. All my church gigs and live shows have been cancelled. It really sucks. I was gonna use that money to pay for a couple summer classes.

We're going to start doing virtual shows. We play over the internet, and people "virtually" tip us.

This is going to drive a huge change in the way people do business and WFH is going to become somewhat of a norm. If I were you I'd be studying the marketplace as much as possible and finding ways to break into that space, as well as studying the technologies that are in place or coming up with ideas to make this easier. This is the time to learn and get any certifications you might want.

One thing that's come up is a lot of availability for grocery stores and fast food delivery.

My mom is pressuring me to find work right now but I feel like those are both horrible ideas...both in terms of income and exposure to the sick population.
Yeah ik what you mean. Although fast food delivery would probably be a great way to make money right now.

Honestly, the dude seems to be kind of a dummy. "web cam" lmfao dude what? The dude's been here for almost seven years and still can't compile a legible sentence to contribute to the forum.

Online casino bonuses can rake you in a little bit if you haven't played on them before.

Any personal experience? I have a book that teaches gambling techniques I could read up on but electronic games are gonna be way different than physical.
I'm an advantage player in brick and mortar casinos. I
have dabbled with online casinos a bit. Some give you a $20 bonus for signing up. It might require wagering that 1x before cashing out or it might require wagering that 20x before cashing out. Either way, whatever of that you cashout will be 100% profit. Some have deposit bonuses. Of course you put some of your money at risk with that.

Main concept is this. Whatever bonus or freeplay you get you'll have to do a certain amount of wagering before cashing out. Play a high return to player game like Jacks or Better. Cashout as soon as you are allowed to cash out the winnings from the bonus. Do not keep playing in an effort to win more. You will slowly lose all of it.

So, say 888 casino gives you a $20 bonus just for signing up. But they require you wager that 20x before cashing it out. That means you'll have to do $400 of wagering. So, if you play $.25 Jacks or Better and bet 5 coin you'll be betting $1.25 a hand. So, you'll play 320 hands then cashout. Might lose it all, but no matter. You didn't risk your money. Jacks or better RTP is 99.54%. So, on average a player doing this would cashout $18.16 if he plays optimal strategy on Jacks or Better. There is variance of course. You might lose the $20 bonus or you might hit a royal flush and win $1,000.

The ideal bonus is one that requires only 1x of wagering before cashing out.
