"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Here's the issue I face.

Some days, I'm ultra confident, while other days, when things aren't going too well, I'm not.

In the past month, I bought a motorcycle for the first time. Needless to say, it was a risk that ultimately made me really confident. I felt like I was different from the masses in a way, and that made me feel like I was the man.

In response to that, I picked up a total of

-2 strippers' numbers in one night, as well as a free lap dance
-a gorgeous blonde girl
-2 other random girls

in a month. I made approaches like they weren't sh*t. I had reached a new level of the quality of girls I was dating. I had approached not just hot chicks, but the HOTTEST of the chicks out there flawlessly and gotten their numbers.

Add to that I'm a poor 19 yo college student in a small studio, it wasn't half bad.

But then there's times like the present. My bike is down (not running), I'm having money issues, and I don't feel like I have anything that is helping me to DIFFERENTIATE myself from the masses and make me that "man" I strive to be.

Not to say I don't make approaches and am not confident. I just don't feel as mighty as I use to.

So the question is...what to do in situations like this? Life is a big ride where you're on top one minute, and on the bottom the next, and to be honest, I like it.

But, when you are in the troughs, what kind of mindset should you have? How can you still feel ULTRA confident when you don't have things to make you ULTRA confident.

Sure, you may naturally be a ballsy motherf*cker, but if you're in the situation that your ballsy attitude can't shine, how is anyone (meaning chicks) suppose to realize it?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Everywhere you want to be.... I'm like a Visa card
No object can substitue for REAL confidence in yourself. It may perk you up for awhile, but the fact is, its temporary. Relying on that temporary boost will screw you over in the end, which you can obviously agree with.

All I can tell you is to build up some real confidence. In the meantime, fix your bike when you get the money.

In a land called **** it.
I don't think he's saying he's having NO confidence, what he's saying is that when everything seems to **** up, how do you still maintain that upbeat side.

Working out relieves stress man. Also if you really like you're own looks, you'll still feel badass, but I know what you mean man. when I'm in a suit and **** I feel just ****ing tough, girls look at me and wonder why I'm dressed so professionally (16 man), guys somehow seem to be in awe of my power (which is kind of weird actually), and I walk with more swagger (well I walk with a swagger anyway, my mom even told me that lol), so what I think both of us need to do, is to realize that we are badass either way (because we are bro) and love it. I feel great dressed normally, but I feel ****ing incredible dressed in a suit, so let's start FEELING ****ing incredible when we aren't. its a choice man, that's what you've gotta realize, its all a choice.

Of course I'm still confident.

But you get use to feeling like a total BADASS and pimp when you're doing things that make you feel that way.

It's just deception if you fake it.

this is interesting. i know what you mean, little nicks in the road that can eat at your confidence. you just have to try your best to stay away from
sh1t that might bring you down. don't let the negative consume you. a poster replied to a thread i started today and said "acknowledge, then let go". it applies to many situations. you just have to keep on doing what you're doing and bettering yourself.....

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
