I was hanging out with a buddy that I hadn't seen in awhile. He started dating this girl about a year ago that seems incredibly superficial, fake, and frankly obnoxious. He is in love with her but I saw her treat him awfully for an entire day. Should I say anything to him?

I watched her do the following:
  • Tell him what food he could and couldn't eat
  • Make him text her every 5 min we were at the bar watching the Yankees / Astros game to tell her what the score and inning was so that she could verify he was actually watching the game
  • Force him to leave at 8 because she started 'feeling sick' and he needed to prioritize taking care of her
  • Berate him over text for all kinds of random bs
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Nothing because he wouldn't listen anyway. The only way he will learn is when he gets dumped
