Just wanted to see what others thought is the best way.

Scenario: You text to set up a date for later in the week. She says yes, then do you simply say: "Perfect" and then just send her a confirmation day of date or do you let them know with something like this: "Perfect, we'll confirm later in the week."

My instinct is to go for the latter option but I just wanted to see what everyone thought. Obviously I feel once you get up to date #3 and above, it seems kinda redundant and predictable if you set up a date and tell her you're going to confirm on day of. No? yes? What do you all think?

Never confirm dates.

Once she says yes, a simple thumb up emoji, or "great, see you there" will suffice.

There is no checking in necessary. It makes you look weak to confirm dates.

I have had success confirming dates a few hours before or waiting for them to reach out to me to confirm. If she is interested it makes no difference. We really need a sticky on these type of redundant questions. Not sure if the bible answers this question on confirming dates.
