"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

cute co-worker today @ work

She seems like someone in her early 20's, unpaid intern.

Anyway she sits in front of a computer all day, such as me, but she sits in front of me, her back facing me of course.

quiet the whole day.
then at the end she wasnt sure how to use the phone so i told her. then she asked me she should tell the boss she's leaving since today's herfirst day and i suggested she should.

Damn this isnt normal for me. i answered her questions. now if i didnt answer her questions straight out, i'd seem like a **** or jerk if i just played mind games w/her. it probably wouldnt be appropriate in a working environment anyway...since my damn boss is nosey and there are cameras in the office.
she doesnt seem like she has an interest in me aand might have a bf.

so how the f*ck does one spark IL in a co-worker.
normally if it was some girl outside of work, i'd crack a few witty remarks or tease her and flirt.

but since this is my first real job in an office im not sure what the f*ck to do in this situation??

You just have to know when to flirt and how far to take it. Stay professional but when you get the opportunity (on break or when its really slow and/or the boss is out) then try some light flirting.

Don't worry about making an impression straight away. Hitting on a poor unpaid intern on her first big scary day will only make things tougher on her. Play the buddy for a bit, and then when things warm up invite her out. BUT STAY PROFESSIONAL. I'm a big advocate of not fooling around in the office, **** gets complicated when things eventually go south. Just don't be stupid and start all out hitting on her in the middle of work, think long and hard on whether or not this is worth it before you do something.

ok good wake up call guys.

things really didnt look tough on her at all...she was pretty bored actually. chatting on aim most of the time...since the boss expects her to do research.

ok ill take things slow...

u said play the buddy thing. that's exactly where i dont wanna end up in the LJBF zone. oh well since she's about a 7 its not that big of a deal. she does have a nice ass and boobs too
