"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

people always say practice makes perfect.....BUT IN REALITY its PERFECT PRACTICE that reaps perfectoin.

Its not how much effort you put into practicing but HOW YOU PRACTICE.

any AFC can go for easy targets, amas a large sum of phone numbers, make out with a chic in under 3 minutes, even get laid if conditions are met.

the purpose of practicing is to PERFECT ones result. Before you reach the ultimate level of speed seduction you will have to have study, comprehend, field test and then enhance.

Perfect practice entails:specifics, challenging one self by attempting to overcome certain failure, details, going for the impossible and making it a reality. Its not just how much you practice but how you challenge yourself.

Asian americans have a word "KAIZEN"---incremental improvements for success.

This is a way of making something great THEN IMPROVING ON IT......not by just making obvious changes but pushing the envelope, risking rejection, trying something new, being creative, details, PAST MISTAKES, etc.

SO IMPROVE THE WAY YOU PRACTICE, challenge yourself beyond what normally would do, test yourself with others, think outside the box.

ONE MORE THING-you gotta be good in ALL AREA'S (online, in the field, durring the day in non pick-up atmospheres, at speed dating events, writing profiles/emails, on dates, etc).

Then once your there......WRITE A BOOK, DESIGN A COURSE AND TEACH....nuff said.

There is a great post in TIPS about immersion.

I think when you talk about perfect practice you are describing practice where you are immersed.

The friends I jam with and I call it "feeling it." We all realised that you can only really learn a song when you "feel" it. Eventually we realised that "feeling it" is the fundamental of everything.

Anyway this post in tips calls the same concept immersion.

So when you practice and when you feel it then you improve. This simple law works in anything and it is a fact!

Nice post COD.
