She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Personally I think that taking a few light hearted shots at a girl can be deemed as funny. However you gotta make it funny or it could be perceived as an insult lol Be a bit cheeky and funny and it should go down well.

I find it a little harder when talking to a women though. I guess if I can do it with my friends, I should be able to do it with women.

I like to use inuendo but not overdo it. Usually I'm more subtle than this.
phenom gave a pretty good example. You can judge if it comes off as an insult or a joke by their reaction. If they play along with it, then it's going well. If they completely shut you down, then you're doing wrong and either your tone is wrong or you just aren't pulling it off very well.
Man, I hate that sh!t too. I guess it happens to the best of us though. When your face-to-face with an HB sometimes it's hard to find that quick, funny response and I just want to beat my head against the wall when 10 minutes later something truely magnificent comes to mind. I guess I'm a perfectionist when it comes to that sort of thing.
