"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

like, you're havin a party and some guys in the room start playing together and you're there, sitting and obliged to listen and watch the guys playin, like all the girls there. What could I do in order to shine through ? What kind of status actions canbe taken ? or wha tbehaviour to have if you don't want to be outshined ?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Gee, I never thought about how I made the other guys feel when I do this. The simple answer is to get the girl alone with you and away from them. You don't want to "outshine them' because you'll come across as some kind of clown that lives off of others attention, especially if it's noticable that that's what your trying to accomplish. Not sexy.
Just ask her a simple question "You wanna stay here and listen to these guys?" Just ask that to your girl your macking it.

good point. The thing is that usually, guys playing, especially if they're good, are something ppl want to see, even more if the whole social group is doin that (watch them playing). But yeah, isolation seems to be the only way out. I'm "afraid" I'm gonna have to face that tonight. Dinnner + show afterwards in a private party.

Learn to play

I play music at parties all the time. It's the best thing to just pull out the guitars and play and have everyone sing. It makes you the group leader and the center of attention, without even trying.. There's not much you can do if everyone else is enjoying the music. Any attempt to "outshine" them will, as mentioned, make you look like a fool.

I suggest something more straight forward - instead of giving her the option.

I find it's much easier to tell women to do things than to ask them - they're indecisive little people.

try saying, "come with me" or "let's go to the other room for a bit" or "do you like fcuking?" -- okay, not the last one, but you get the picture... or if you're game is really working, you could try motioning to leave the room and have her ask you where you're going, then simply tell her to follow you... OR just sit tight and wait for the instrument jockeys to shut the hell up.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Let them finish the set. Go up, compliment them & hang out w/ them for a bit. Then start busting on them and joking around. You're part of the group then and your social value will be just as high. I did that at a club not too long ago w/ the band. I hung out w/ them after the set and it was really interesting to watch the social dynamics behind it.
