Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

We been going out for 9 months. Today last time she called me while I was working I made a nasty joke about her dad I told her your dad could go **** him self something like that but in Spanish I was joking .
She got mad and she told me baby don’t say that again and I told her why not I could say it if I want to and if you don’t like it we could brake up she got really pissed and hang up the phone.

Like 20 mins later i called her and she didn’t picked up, her mom told me she was in the shower. When I get to talk to her I told her that it was my mistake, and that I didn't mean it. She said you always said the same thing blah, blah, blah, its the second time I say something like that to her.
So went I left from my job I went to her house to talk outside, she said she felt really bad blah blah I told her. Listen all I can say is That Im sorry and I wont happen again. She kept saying you always say the same thing, and then she stood quite and I left that’s it.

For the record I have dump her many times she always come back to me, im her life, that’s what she says. Gives me a lot of expensive gifts. She treats me like king not complains. But I don’t want to lose her.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

In a land called **** it.
I haven't been on here in a minute, and I don't really have the time to be up here much since I've been back home, but I thought you might actually have a real problem not something retarded like 99% of **** on this board. Anyway bro first off:

She got mad and she told me baby don’t say that again and I told her why not I could say it if I want to and if you don’t like it we could brake up she got really pissed and hang up the phone.
The joke was fine, but man its not really necessary to need absolute power all the time. There was no need for yout o threaten to brake up with her because she asked you not to joke like that about her dad. I'm sure 99% of "DJ"s up here are gonna disagree with what I'm about to say, but **** it, HUMAN EMOTIONS AREN'T **** TO TOY WITH. You don't need to harm or threatan a woman like that just to keep her around man, boundaries and limits are one things, threats and uncessary attacks are pointless man, and in the long run, its gonna breed resentment.

She said you always said the same thing blah, blah, blah, its the second time I say something like that to her.
She kept saying you always say the same thing, and then she stood quite and I left that’s it.
.....why do you keep doing something that you know pisses her off?

For the record I have dump her many times she always come back to me, im her life, that’s what she says. Gives me a lot of expensive gifts. She treats me like king not complains. But I don’t want to lose her.
Maybe you should tell her that last part about not wanting to lose her. Peoplelike to know that they are wanted around, and you going, "well yea we've invested a nearly a year into each other, but I'm willing to throw all that out just so I can one up you and get a joke in on your dad without you reprimanding me". Come on man, if you really didn't wanna lose her then all it would take is for you NOT to keep doing things that you KNOW intentially piss her off. Of course you ca nmake mistakes bro, but don't do **** on purpose that you know get her angry.

I really don't know what to say. You've been with her 9 months. You should know what buttons not to push. Making a joke about her father, then when she confronts you about it, you threaten to break up (even if it was jokingly)?

Yeah if I was her I'd be pissed to. Fact is that after 9 months, she probably expects better from you.

Go see her and apologize.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
