my parents think that if i can wear it, then it's good.
they don't understand style and fashion at all.
it's not we're poor, but my parents only think that girls are allowed to own more than 5 shirts.
i'm like, "mom, at least buy me enough clothes so that i can go a week wearing something different each day..."
and she's like "well you can just wash them before the other ones get dirty"

I'm assuming you're asian by your name, and yea, i feel you.
Asian here as well, and its a absolute ***** to get them to buy me clothes. I have finally swapped my wardrobe out now so i'm ok with it. I'd like more but...eh, its good enough. I'll buy more when i have money of my own.
I think that with a lot of asian parents, just nag like a b**** and they'll give in a bit, if you know what i am saying.

Since I moved out on my own a little more than four years ago I greatly expanded my wardrobe. I have filled two full closets and have quite a few boxes of older, not worn clothes.

In my not so humble opinion... you can never have too many clothes.

alot is never enough in my book , I like to follow trends in fashion , and keep up with the times, what I do with my old clothes or things that are not in style, I donate to charity , ex salvation army or goodwill, or when I go to mexico on vacation , I give my stuff to my cousins who can't afford what I buy

IM very picky so i have a few thing s that i really like i never by anything that i dont love... I tend to stock up on nice clothes and shoes when i see them so when i have a date i dont have to scrabble and rush to find the perfect shirt and shoes...
