i truely belive that it is for the candy and card and flower industries to get your money.

valentines day, should be any dang day , to show the person you are in love with that they mean so much to you.

and it doesnt mean you have to buy a thing.

Valentines day can be fun if you've got a bunch of girls trying to win your affection... other than that its a lame holiday if you dont have a steady relationship

IMHO, valentines day is just another "corporate marketing" crap day invented made to give people a reason to spend money on their products.

just like halloween...

for me its an ordinary day.

About a month ago I actually was stressing a bit about wether or not I would have a date for Valentine's Day. All the hype in the retail stores and the media of course didnt help either. As the day drew closer I began to think that Valentine's Day is way overhyped and that you dont need a day to show you really care about someone. Now I see it as an opportunity to practice my game on women who are desperately looking for a date so they wont be single on V Day

So in a nutshell, no I do not give a rats arse about Valentine's Day, and I will be damned if I let any companys like Hallmark get my hard earned money just so I can say 'Be my valentine'
