I'm not a fan of government, but they're fukking stupid, dude. We are talking about an institution that can't figure out how to collect taxes effectively from the uber wealthy. Can't win a 20-year war in bumblefukk against cave men despite a clear weaponry advantage. Couldn't manage an effective plan to corral COVID before the vaccine. Couldn't prevent its own sacred building from being stormed by rednecks when there was clear as day chatter about a planned insurrection. They couldn't even keep Jeffrey Epstein alive in their own prison. I really hope you don't think the government is that sophisticated. These are some of the most idiotic people on the planet and they don't know what they're doing, besides putting their snouts in the trough. While I agree that murder and theft are clearly negotiable to the government, usually these things happen because of incompetence.

This is what I say to shut out any conspiracy theories. On the subject of Covid, I actually suspect many officials want to use it as an opportunity for something like a "great reset", but it's laughable to suggest it's anywhere close to fruition. The government is far too incompetent to pull off anything like that.

Unfortunately, the general public is just as incompetent, so between the two entities, they may just blunder into it.

Holding onto freedom is an active process, and from what I've seen, most people aren't up to it.
