“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

First off, sorry for this being a thread that's not on picking up, but I thought this forum might be the best place to ask this question (better than anything else).

I'm still pretty young 24 and 1/2..but for the last 2-3 years I've basically been without any close friends. Not that nobody likes me, but the friends I've had for the past 7 or 8 years all sort of moved in different directions (diff. cities or even abroad) and there's not much contact anymore.

I'm not looking to complain, I'm in college and plan on doing a year abroad and actually don't think it's that bad as I'm considering moving to another place myself and not having any very close friendships here is good b/c it won't hold me back from doing that.

However, what I've been wondering: Is that something that happens to most people at that time of their lives? Losing touch with most friends in their early to mid twenties b/c guys are going to college or accepting jobs in other locations?

Just three. Have a few good buds from college I still talk to.

I've been dealing with the same sort of thing, I'm 23. It's a pretty big adjustment to go from college where you have all your friends to the real world, where your friends may not be. I moved to florida for grad school and a job and didn't know anyone when I got here. I know a few people now but no one I would call a good friend. I just try to keep in touch with my dudes from back home, talk on the phone once a month or something. Def. go for the study abroad and think about moving when you get out of college, it's a great, if challenging, experience.

None. I stayed friends with them for a couple years after high school (we graduated in 2000) but then I stopped returning their calls. A couple of years ago, we met up for a movie but it just reaffirmed my belief that I didn't want to stay friends with them. Every once in a while, one of them calls me when he's either drunk or high, I never pick up or return his voice mails.

I always had the feeling that I had made the wrong friends in high school. We were definitely not the cool people and none of us got girls. I realize now that if I bothered to join the baseball team or something I could have been in the "in crowd," going to the parties and getting laid.

I haven't made any friends since then, because it's harder to make friends in Jr. college. That will probably change when I go to a university next August.

I've had the same problem as you dude. I'm 26 and most of my friends from college and even my current friends either live pretty far from me or are in the military. Therefore, that leaves me hanging out with either my GF, who I live with, her family, or my family.

Obviously things could be worse, but I do envy guys who get to do "Guys' Night Out" 1-2 times a week. I just wish I had a group of 4-5 dudes who could just meet up at a different guy's house and watch the game, drink a few beers and talk about sports/sex/whatever.....

I do think losing touch is a common thing, especially when you reach your late twenties when Phase 3 of the Matrix hits and everyone starts getting married.

Hehe actually, I must say I don't think of this as being a problem for me (though admiteddly it's a strange stage in life). I guess it's actually a positive thing if I do pull off the moving abroad thing (I'm in Germany..and want to move to another sunnier place in Europe (Southern France (I can speak French already) or Spain/Portugal), because living in a place where the sun doesn't shine at all for 6 months a year is making me more and more depressive...plus a bigger city where more partying is going on.

I made this thread mostly b/c I was curious to see if other people felt the same way. I mean if I look at my dad or other peoples' dads it doesn't seem like they're still close friends with a bunch of people they went to high school with...and I was wondering if the mid-20s or so were about the time in life where this happens to most people (to find an explanation for my situation, I guess).

EDIT: I guess another thing is that most of the friendships I've had aren't really close friendships, but more like 'buddies' that you hit the clubs on the weekend or hang out sometimes, but nothing 'deeper' than that

I used to have a lot of friends in high school (but then I found out that they were the ones causing all the drama. I dropped them).

After that, I still had preston, jeff, TJ, and emmitt.

Emmitt went to college in Maine.

Jeff and Preston are in Afghanistan.

TJ is in Iraq.

All of my friends are out of the state or in another college.

I have a couple I talk to and hang out with on a regular basis, but I actually keep in touch with a lot of them through facebook. It's amazing how small of a world it is--I found out almost a quarter of my class lives in the same neighborhood as I do. (I'm 25, btw)

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
