How many folks here support Trump...

I'm really curious as how many of you support Trump (or not) in the current primaries. If American, are you crossing party lines to support him. Also, any persons of color here in support of him.

I'm in support if him. Most black folks in my country think he is the anti Christ or worse. I'm thinking it's because he's campaigning to shut the door to America and if your a foreigner it makes that much more difficult to get to. I see nothing wrong with protecting ones borders.

To the left he is being made out to be evil. His opponents on the right think he is liberal and can't believe they are being beat at their own game. Am I missing something here or is this simply American politics.

Is this the appropriate place to start this? Surely the two cardinal rules are no talk about religion and no talk about politics. I foresee a poo slinging contest developing.

Judging from my facebook friends, the people who are supporting him on facebook are not exactly the cognitive elite. And it's the opposite with Bernie Sanders - he's the pick among my attorney friends and the kids I grew up with that I know are intelligent.

If anyone knows of any morons supporting Sanders, or any smart people supporting Trump, that would be interesting to hear about, because I haven't seen it yet.

I wish I had your faith in the rationality and practicality of the "cognitive elite"...Sadly Intellect is not wisdom....The greatest excesses of the twentieth century were not philosophically based on the mutterings of the Village idiots but from the thoughtfully packaged ideas of Intellectuals...Having worked for most of my life in Academic Institutions I would prefer to be led by people whose wisdom came from practical experience rather than from the pages of text books.
