do you know her friends? she might be the type of girl who only uses text/bbm and receives calls from friends, including females. my girl is the same way in that she rarely initiates contact unless i've given her no contact or something -- as it turns out, she rarely initiates contact with her regular female friends too. i think this developed over several years of being the object of attention in school.
