How imporant do you think posture should be when out in the public?
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
don't worry about your posture. worry about whether or not you feel comfortable being out in public around other people. If you're comfortable in your own skin, socially aware, etc, etc your poster is going to be fine without you even thinking about it.SeymourCake said:How imporant do you think posture should be when out in the public?
I'd say sometimes it's not that simple. Your body is going to be adapted to whatever posture you most commonly adopt. Muscle memory. You sometimes have to break that mold by placing your body into a proper stance, and maintaining it. Shoulders, up, back and down is a good one, neck straight up, chin slightly up. I know there's more but those are a few good ones.btownbuck2012 said:don't worry about your posture. worry about whether or not you feel comfortable being out in public around other people. You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
This is very true. Apparently research has shown women are attracted to guys who are relaxed and spread their weight out. I do this after a few drinks anyway, it shows relaxation and a kind of oneness with the environment. If she is interested she will seek out the protection of itSgtSplacker said:I read that the proper posture when dating is to be somewhat relaxed and spread out.
