In a way this site is somewhat hurting my confidence. I see MANY stories on the forums of guys telling their stories and everyone tells the guy she's not interested or doesn't like him. Do these guys just have bad game or is it really hard to get a girl to like you?

This site shouldn't be hindering your ability to think you can get a girl. To be honest most of the replies of that nature are to threads dealing with guys who are investing way too much time in a girl who obviously isn't interested in him. When you read those replies you have to consider that many of the posters may have been in the same situation and now regret it. It isn't about knocking someone down around here. It is just about giving someone with problems a little jumpstart on the reality of their situation. Sometimes you need someone to be an a$$hole to you before you realize that you are doing the completely wrong thing.
But dont sweat it. Go read the bible. Go out and practice and remember to enjoy yourself while you are doing it. Dont get discouraged because a rejection just means there is one less girl that you have to worry about approaching. Honestly read the bible and poke around here reading threads and check the tips section. You will be a better man for it and will not worry about how hard it is to get women in no time.

I admit I give a hard time to some posters here. They don't really pay attention to the constant new threads of the same sh1t over and over and if they do read the bible, they rarely pay attention to it because they never apply the material properly or assume that it's 100% true faith.
Some of these posts are great comic relief, I collect them and post them on another website. I especially love the 2-3 page whines.

Usually those guys have double or even single digit post counts. They're just starting out and are learning. Also, of course there are going to be more posts about rejection. If the guy succeeded in getting the girl and everything was peachy, what would he need to post about?

If you are not sure if a girl likes you and you are thinking about it too much and you become so concerned you post here about it ...
1. She doesn't like you.
2. You are too concerned about her feelings and not enough about yours. If you're not in trouble now you will be soon and you better rethink what you are doing.
3. You don't have enough going on in your life and you might want to spruce it up.
4. You are dealing with a woman that is deeply deeply into heavy game playing and you should probably take a step back.
5. You are looking for "yes" men who will tell you what you want to hear.
6. You are looking for "no" men that will tell you what you need to hear.
7. You need a wake up call just to get out of the trance you have fallen into.
8. You live under a bridge and eat goats.
I'm sure there are others and maybe someone can suggest some but it's almost always about inner game. Getting a women to like you isn't rocket science but it does require inner work.
It's like when people called Dr. Laura:
Hi Dr. Laura, I work as a prostitute and am trying to get my kids hooked on heroin. Do you think I'm doing the right thing?
She probably won't think you are doing the right thing.
Somewhere inside there is a part of a persons brain that realizes things are not going right and that their conscious mind will not do what needs to be done. They drive the person to find someone to *****slap them. They might argue and resist but hopefully some reality will stick.
Some people cannot bounce back till they hit some kind of bottom. Even if the other person might like them they need to be scared straight. If the post is at least a couple sentences long there will be some clues. Some people want to next everyone. But the more thoughtful posts will try to help the poster with the inner game.
If your confidence slips it is probably a sign you need to work on your confidence. Your brain is trying to help you before you hit bottom. Consider it. A little tweak now might prevent the need for an overhaul later.

Apart from improving yourself and making yourself more attractive to women in general, there's really not much you can do to get a particular girl interested in you. Either she is or isn't. There are things you can do to raise interest level, but that's assuming there was even some to start with. If there's none at all, there's nothing you can do about it, and that's why you shouldn't waste time that you could be spending on someone who is interested. Every success story I've read on here started with there being some mutual interest. If there's one where the girl initially had zero interest, I'd like to hear it.
Some women are just not going to be interested. It's a fact of life, and actually helps my confidence to realize that and not get upset when it happens.
