How effective is the "who's this" text?

Had a girl go ghost on me after we hooked up on the first date. Took her 2 weeks to respond to a text, giving no valid excuse as to doing so. I've never effectively done it, but does the "who's this" text work? Anyone ever had any good experiences with it? Indifferent as to whether or not I see her again.

Had a recent girl that gave me some flakey excuses on why she couldn't meet up for our scheduled date. After that I deleted her number. About 2 weeks later she texted me and I claimed I didn't know who she was. She called me out, so I ignored her. She then sent a text saying she gave me her number on pof and if I really wanted to talk to her I could go look it up! The next day I get a POF(dating site) message from her with a smiley face. The previous message she sent was her phone number and thats when I confirmed the number. I did end up going on a date with her, but I shouldn't have. She's a damn game player. I didn't have anything else going so I did it.

Years ago I had a girl text me and had no clue who it was. But she asked how my search for a house was going. So I played along in a joking/sarcastic manner still not having any clue. Finally, it dawned on me that this was an exgirlfriend(who was a realtor) from 3yrs previous that likely saw my name on a list of people that were looking for houses to buy. So I googled her number and sure enough it was her. I then sent a text saying, I have no clue who you are! She refused to believe me. I had no interest in seeing her again so I stopped texting her and she went away. She was def wanting to rekindle something.

These girls all hate rejection. The hot ones rarely experience rejection. And by claiming you don't know who they are flips some attraction switches and spools up that hamster wheel which makes the vagina tingle! How dare a guy reject them by claiming he doesn't know who they are!

She'll phrase her text in such a way that it is perfectly clear who it is from so you can't use this ploy on her.

Just an update:

I used it on her, and to say it went well would be a huge understatement. I could hear the mortal combat "flawless victory" sound effect in my head afterwards. I have so much power right now I don't even know what to do with it. Maybe I'll build a wall and run for president.

I had one call me and ask if I got drunk and had fun last night. I said "who is this?" She replied "you know who this is" When I told her I really didn't..... she was pissed. Only 2 women I've dated come to mind with the accent. But one was 30 years ago and the other was 3. No interest in either one of them. I'm not jumping through hoops to date a woman who took that long to realize her mistake

This. I agree one hundred percent and imagining them on the wheel is truly satisfying. Even better if you have a front row seat via a mutual friend. It's delicious joy that comes from torturing them like this!
