"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Women don't seem to care for looks as much as us guys do. Personality can make the world of difference in attracting and keeping a girl. Alot of teachings here focus on eliminating fear and tips on approaches and closing the deal. But very little on helping one develop their personality. So how does one go about improving their personality?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

most of it is, unfortunately, formed starting from the day you are in the womb, and nearly set in stone by the time you enter high school, but you can 'act' really well and just be nice, and respect everyone, until they do something to lose that respect, you will be fine.

personality develops from birth, but can still be greatly influenced by what you do today. It can be influenced by who you hang out with, what you do, and most importantly (IMO) experiences.

For instance, immerse yourself in different cultures, and it will greatly develop your personality. Ask anyone who has been travelling, and they will tell you that it changed their personality and outlook on life to some degree.

Read books, watch the news, keep up on current affairs. FInd out about things that interest you. Find about about some things that don't interest you!! You might be surprised.

All these kinds of things add to you as a person, and as a result can shape your personality. Doing these kinds of things give you more to talk about, and can involve you in more conversations. Slowly but surely the personallity shines through.

And of course realise that no matter how good you think your personality is, you will still have personality clashes with plenty of people!!

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

that really depends though...what do you define great as? The epitome of a perfectionist?

Which direction do you want your personality to grow in?
Lazy, arrogant, rude snob....modest,friendly,outgoing,laid back...something to think about.

Often the friends/people you hang around often reflect a similar if not the same personality/interests as yours.

This has been pretty much the only post on this thread I read, but I may have an answer to it.

You have pretty much answered you're own question, sort of. By elmination fear of pretty much anything, you become a happier (for lack of a better word) person, which makes your personality better, because it makes you feel better, which ups your confidence, which gives you a good personality. It's like one huge circle.

Also, I have a feeling you may be talking about in initial conversations. I know, right now, for me, my conversations are not that great, but it will come with practice, and once again, making your personality shine through.

Furthermore, if a girl sees that you are not afraid to approach her, she will wonder, if done right, what else you are all about. If you use the tips on this board (I've used some, but it's difficult when starting out, which I am just starting out), a good personality can't help but be seen.

I hope that helps.

I really don't have problem carrying conversation. comes with my job. Of course the conversation might not be as interesting as I would like it to be.

That's also the question I asked earlier, what constitude a "great" personality. What are the components?

The aspects you listed. I can say, I'm laid back, outgoing (half the time), friendly, modest (most times), arrogant (sometimes), lazy (for sure). I'm not rude nor a snob.
