"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I am a senior in HS and I dated this girl which goes to a different school. She lives about 70 miles away from me. We were "going out" for 1.5 months but I had only 3 dates with her. My game was really good the whole time and I actually was told by her sister that she jumping up and down and telling everyone I was coming to town. In the third and final date everything went really good and she was displaying high interest. That date was on a Saturday. Throughout the next week we talk very little because she ends all the conversations in a few minutes. I sense a break up and she does break up with me at the end of the week. The reason she says is because the Long Distance thing isn't working.(I wasn't going to get to see her for another two weeks). She told she wants to come to my house and ride horses and hang out though.

I've ended all contact with her. That was about a month ago and I keep thinking about her more and more and I may want to get back with her. In the next month I will be seeing her a couple times and gauge if she may still like me.

In conclusion how do most long distance relationships end and may I still have a chance.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

70 miles isn't long distance. It's a long drive.

Still have a chance at what? Do you know what you want?

No don't end it!

Seriously don't end it. Cool off, its not too long distance. Its long distance when you are in Vietnam and she is in Malibu. or vise versa.

Just loss the communication a bit too long foor her to miss you. Then you can smack her right in there though.

Well I texted her today "Happy Valentines Day", and she replied with "Hey you too why don't we talk anymore". So it looks like my not talking too her is having some effect. What could be a good reply to this? I was thinking "The phone goes both ways you know" but they may be a lil too jerkish.

Here is how mine ended: I found out she had cheated on me with multiple people, I freak out because we were pretty much engaged and I always had the upper hand, I turn into a complete AFC, find out more lies, bottle up energy, freak out when I'm drunk and break a glass on the floor when I'm in her house and get put in a drunk tank by the police.

Goodbye to AFC behavior forever. I dated a lunatic that got off on turning me into one and I was just too stupid to realize it.

That was a while back but it had a great impact on my life. I realized I didn't need this person to be happy and confident.

I probably messed it up tonight. I got mad at her on msn because i started a conversation and she would barely talk so i said"and you wonder why we don't talk because you'll barely say anything". I still have feelings for her but I don't want to look desperate either.
