Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

On a side note: I had some female uber passengers say most of the guys are jerks, afc's, players... and only 1% are the rare "good guy". And no, not 3%.
It may be where I live. It's like automatic scarcity...way too easy! Like shooting fish in a barrel!

That's great, but that doesn't automatically make you the 1% rare "good guy".
I dislike the term AFC, because it's almost as much of a stereotype as the alpha male. But I try to treat everyone with respect unless they prove they are unworthy. If a guy has problems getting women, or if a guy is letting a girl run over him, I will try to gently encourage them in the right direction, but I won't get pushy about it. It's his life and he has to find his right path on his own. I can give him a bit of truth, but he's the one who has to recognize it. Ultimately it's none of my business.
