"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I haven't talked to this little biotch in weeks. She's dating somebody else, so am I, we aren't friends. Last week, she started practically begging me to be friends with her, I told her she wasn't a friend to me....then the weekend goes by and I hear on Monday that she's going around telling some really f*cked up lies about me.

She said I stole her credit card info and racked it up (we had a joint Visa, I had a card and she had one too), and that I did this, that, and the other....basically alot of little BS lies and half-truths.

All the people that know are mutual friends, and I don't know who believes what, but I'm pissed.

How do you deal with that?

If I don't defend myself, I'll look guilty, but I'm sick and goddamn tired of these games.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

If it isn't true and people believe it, were they truly your friends?

Couldn't agree more man. Cause they would be her friends instead of yours.

If you can, explain to your friends what she's lying about.

Then, call the ***** and chew her out.

People probably won't agree with me on this, but I really don't care.

You going to stand there and let her do this stupid crap and get away with it?

Chew the ***** out. Swear, yell, whatever. Intimidate her into responding to you.

Don't be scared about looking like a "jerk" and her not liking you anymore, because:

1. She has nothing to offer.
2. She won't pull this **** anymore.
3. She will respect you more.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Amen.

You know what you did and didn't do. If you tell your "friends" and they believe some 2-bit lying h0 over you, then dump THEM too. And if she starts telling people that may affect your future/professional life, threaten her with a lawsuit to shut her up...women don't get law. :p
