How do you know when you have confidence?

Although I am still in high school I thought I'd ask the older people a question. So question, I still have my share of problems with girls and anytime I ask my dad what my problem is or for advice because I am not pulling girls, he'll say confidence, and he says that every time. I feel that I am confident...much more than I have ever been in my life. But thats all he manages to say. I feel like he is keeping something from me sometimes and just doesn't want to tell me the truth. But I'm not going to rule out what he is saying. So how do you truly know when you are confident.?

For a man, confidence is something that is almost never can be faked. It is something that can never be put into words, only body language. He doesn't know either. But; A man's confidence is defined by 1) his career and how much money he makes 2) his genes and good looks 3) his positive outlook on life 4) if he doesn't have the first two, he needs the third, so he can one day, attain or at least pursue the first two, which leads to 5) ambition, a huge turn on for female species. 6) happiness. Hard to be happy if you are broke, ugly, negative, unambitious.
You will get there. Just keep working hard.

Money and looks?

How about how valuable a man is to society? Or how about first-hand experience?

I have noticed that people who have good social skills, or generally someone who is physically bigger, tends to be more confident.

Money will not make you more confident unless you want it.

You have confidence when you play by your rules, when you don't you go by somebody else's.
