Most guys I know (including myself) could give two sh1ts less about bieng labeled a man wh0re or a man slvt. Call me whatever you want because I don't care. I'll admit to bieng one. As far as promiscuous women goes... there just there for most guys to fvck and bail out as soon as they are done with them. I'm not trying to say that women should wait until marriage to have sex but they should have some morals and respect for their bodies. In other words have somewhat of a strict limit as to how many men they allow themselves to sleep with. When the time comes for this type of woman to settle down no man in his right mind would even get close to this type of woman. A real man would not settle down with a hor. I see it as an unscrupolous act coming from the womans side. It's an insult. It's shameful and lacks morality. I know some of the idiots on this board would hate on me and make up excuses for this type of promiscuous behavior by stating things such as "Woman are sexual creatures", or "There should be equality between the sexes and women should be able to choose as many partners as they want" and My favorite one.... "There's no such thing as a slut. It's only a label given to women by mysognists throughout history to control women's sexual behavior". Also let me add that I don't think it's proper for men to sleep around either but it seems like most of us are unable to control ourselves. On the other hand there is nothing wrong with a woman enjoying sex either as long as it's not with a truckload of men. You can't equate a womans sexual nature to that of a male's. Why cant men have respect for their bodies? or is that too feminine? Its a known fact that anyone who sleeps around constantly is craving something, whether they are male or female.
ps--i'm not saying that women dont need sex...i'm saying is that women can curb their sexual frustrations by a vibrator, or other such means but most of them certainly dont focus their lives on getting laid like most men do. Because male and female societies are completly different. We grow up differently, and learn different behaviour from same-sex friends then females do. It's hammered into our heads that sleeping with as many women as possible is the natural thing to do, and it is reinforced by our peers. Like I said before, guys COMPETE for women, and women CHOSE which guy they'll keep. You cant generalize. Not all males are brought up the way you describe. The man i'm practically engaged to wasn't brought up the way you describe. He was brought up to respect women and himself and to not offer himself to multiple women, his ultimate goal to get laid. No, he waited until he felt it was right in his life to finally have sex. So what if he was a virgin at 20 years old? The fact is, he respected himself enough not to lose it to some drunk high school b1tch that thought he was hot. He chose to make something special out of it, how its meant to be. I have another friend here, is sn is MetalFortress, and he was raised the same way. He is choosing to wait until marriage to give himself to his wife. So she can experience the gift she is giving him in return. Now that i've found my Mr Right, I wish i could have given him myself just as he has given me hisself.
Men who are raised by religious (specifically Christian) parents aren't tought to sleep with as many women as possible. Its considered a sin. Even though society teaches males that, it is the resilliant ones that overcome that retrospective male sterotype and prevail with a more confident attitude and a higher sense of self-respect. These are the men that will treat their wives how they would like to be treated. The ones who fail, and succumb to the societal norm are the men who are miserable in their marrages because they've never had to settle down before, and often cheat or get divorced. Or they never marry and are eternal batchelors. I feel pity on these men. I feel so much pity on men who cannot control their sexual appetite and blame society for it. There is a fine like between being a sexual person because you want to be one, and being a sexual person because society teaches you to be one. The reason why I support female sexuality is because it is still somewhat of a taboo subject. Most men still believe that women should be suppressed by men in all means possible, especially in their sexuality. My main point is that women shouldn't be labeled as wh0res for sleeping around, and that men should learn to have more respect for themselves and their bodies. I know i might sound contradictory, but i'm for women's rights and for greater equality.
You preach that women should have more respect for their bodies by not sleeping around, so why not practice what you preach? it certainly wont make you less of a man, it certainly doesn't make my boyfriend less than a man (in fact, it made him more of a man in my eyes because it told me that he has respect for himself) and the same goes for MetalFortress. I have so much respect for him for wanting to wait until marriage, and for slapping the sterotypical male in the face, saying "screw it! i dont have to succumb to your ideal of what a man is"
And if you think you're more manly because of the more women you've slept with, you couldn't be more wrong. And yes, you can reverse the thinking by changing yourselves and your behavior. It isnt that hard. I did it. Then, you raise your sons to respect women and to respect themselves, and slowly, things will change.
So in conclusion, think about the double-standard. Would it be so wrong for you to have more respect for yourselves?

Men choose and women accept. That's why guys are concerned about their advances being received. When a girl's advances are not received she thinks the guy is either gay or thinks of her as a friend.
There can't ever be true equality between men and women. Men and women are different and so they require different things. Men and women are not the same and so they don't require the same things.
There certainly are and have been needed changes required to equalize the social status of women (voting, owning property, equal pay for equal work, etc.) but men and women approach relating to the other differently and that's why it can never be equal. One could argue the nature vs. nurture thing but I think it's a moot point. Why?
Well, if it's nature then it's going to be damn difficult to undo millenia upon millenia (perhaps 100,000 years or more --- any experts to chime in here) of our DNA asserting itself in the form of Homo Sapiens.
If it's nurture, well again humans have been around a long time and so some of that nurture may have become nature now.
In my opinion, despite the fact that humans have astounding adaptability and flexibility, there is something hard-wired (or has become hard-wired) in the male and female make-up (genetic and psychological) that is a "maleness" and "femaleness". Comments from all are welcome.
Also religious teaching regarding sexual restraint and sexual conservatism, both within and outside of marriage, is as old as civilization itself. If the social anthropologists are to be believed, the "regulation" of relations between the sexes is a relatively new construct that appeared far after humanity did. A minor point but I think that needed to be clarified.
