How do you handle Disrespect

How do you guys handle when someone disrespects you? Not only girls but other friends in social circle? When someone disrespects me I want to just take revenge by getting violent but that's the loss of composure and not a sign of a true man, right? So do you guys just leave that person(kick out of life) and quit the whole circle? I am not sure what should be done.

Also this is when I start questioning myself if my ego is getting hurt or it's my Self Respect...

Depends...if its out at a bar in a social circle, I'd probably laugh at it and tell the guy something like "Man, you seem like you could really use a hug today...you must have had a rough day...let me buy you a drink" in a joking manner with a big smile and just put your arm around him and go give him a bro hug...

You will effectively do a few things:

1) He will look like a complete douchebag in front of everyone

2) Others will see you are confident enough that you don't need to get in a war of words with a "lesser" male

3) Women will notice the way you handled yourself and you will get big points---the arm around him without his reciprocation demonstrates you as the Alpha subconciously to them while simultaneously showing he is the beta in the interaction

4) You will more than likely make him feel like an @ss and he will probably end up becoming your "buddy" for the night, thereby actually helping you with the girls in the social circle as he will probably talk you up to them
