I sure do suck at texting, I don't initiate, I respond when I want, I make the date and stop convo.
A DJ stands out, she cant understand why her panties respond uncontrollably to you being different and explaining the mystery to her would work against you.

I joke with her and tease her... get her to laugh. Anytime a women starts with this type of convo, you are doing things right. Remember with women it's all about emotion, positive or negative it does not matter, if you is upset with you she is thinking about you... anytime she is emotionally thinking about you its good.
So when a women gets all serious about her emotions, you need to turn that into a positive, joke around with her, get her to smile. Works like a charm, she wants to know that her emotions are not going to get to you and she could be testing you to see if you start acting weird or needy... just be charming and ****y and realize that you are doing things right.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Playful answers are all well and good, but it's wise, methinks, to covertly try to understand why she thinks that way. Her saying this could be just the usual female background noise or it could even be a legitimate complaint on her part if you're not socially calibrated.
Not that I disagree with the answers above at all, but I'm a believer in situational awareness. Many a man has been dumped seemingly (to him) out of the blue when the hints were actually screaming at him all along.
