Going by the past 2 weeks, they didn't meet my standards in looks, weren't responsive enough with texts, crazy, and was going on spring break with her ex, but thought it was wrong for me to text mine.
By way of example, every little step toward each date is a compliance test for me.
Will she eagerly do each of the following?
1. Freely give me her contact information?
2. Tell me when she's free?
3. Set a definite date?
4. Not require me to confirm?
5. Not "wow-just-wow" at the idea of me not talking to her until the next time I see her and accept that I'm busy?
6. Not give me a lame excuse and/or cancel and/or "forget"?
7. Act like she's having a good time?
8. Kiss me back when I go for a kiss?
9. Thank me after the date?
If I get noncompliance at any step, I eject.

I have a two strike flake policy.
Sometimes I'll go silent on them randomly to test whether they will reinitiate contact. If they don't they aren't interested.
I check whether they offer to pay their way. If they don't then they don't get a call back.
Sometimes I drop a line in to test their truthfulness
Eg. Plate was online late in the evening (on whatsapp). I text her, she came back with a four word response. I text "ok chatty, enjoy the rest of your week"
Her response was: "sorry, just trying to get to sleep etc etc"- this was most likely bull**** otherwise shed not be online- number deleted.
If they don't text thank you after a date- deleted.

The gut. It never lies. If I get a bad feeling about a woman, I'm going to keep my options open. If I feel like she's not giving 100%, then I can't take her seriously. The gut has the final say with every woman I date.

Agree with Desdinova, being honest with yourself and listen at your gut is the best policy.
As a general rule anyway, she has to be pleasant to the eye and to the heart, when you find yourself being annoyed or frustrated during interactions with her its a red flag...if you have to open a thread about her asking for suggestions in this board, its a red flag too.

Looks and intelligence to me are huge. For looks for me, it is all in facial beauty as it is the singular part of them I am going to look at the most. They also have to be thin.
