"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

is it friends?

i myself define success=happiness, this goes beyond a DJ but as a human being... lets hear your definition...

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

success, happiness, and control as well as many other adjectives are relative. Few people will share the same frame of refrence so my success isn't really comparable to others. I am happy knowing that I do dictate my own success and happiness though and for me that is what matters.

friends
girls
money
health
high social status
success at school
entertaining life

Currently, I only don't have success at school. I will definitely work on it the next year, I realized that it's the last thing I need to be 100% happy and confident although it took me over a year to admit it to myself.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Success is acheiving what you set out to achieve.

By this definition I am not yet there, but by societies low standards I am extremely successful.

The only real losers are people who never tried to get anywhere out of fear or those who quit before they got there out of fatigue. So it is entirely reltive.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I define success by how I feel about myself afterwards.

If I get my ego boost/dopamine rush, then I'd consider myself a success. If I don't, I wonder why, but I quickly move on.

I want to get off on it when I do something, and when I don't ... nothing is more discouraging than that.

success to me is being satisfied with yourself and the work you have done. not being afraid to let anyone know what you have done in life,no matter what aspect.

To me, success is primarily:

1. Freedom - to be controlled is failure. Everyone is under the control of someone else, its just that the more successful people are less under the control of others. Therefore, one could say that money=freedom, which it does in most cases.

2. Enjoyment - I want to live life doing things I enjoy, without anyone holding me back, which relates to point number 1.

3. Companionship - This isn't about girls. To have good people in your life that will stick with you through it all is a true success. Real friends are hard to come by these days, but once you've found them, its like striking gold.

4. Closure - getting everything I want to get done, done - leaving no loose ends.

It is these things that will truly make me happy, and thus successful in life.

The answer to this question is....the question.

To clarify, the answer to this question is this: how do you define success?

What do you mean?

Re-define it so that you're already successful?

That's the only way I can think of to become successful without changing who you are and what you do with yourself.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Success for me would be riding in a limo, getting a bj from a hot supermodel, while snorting coke off the ass of another hot supermodel.

Success, as a word itself, is of course defined as accomplishing a goal.

But what I'm sure you mean is, how do you define a successful life?

If, a few years ago, someone had asked me what my ultimate goal in life was, I would have told them, "to be happy."

But lately I've realized that happiness is not enough for me. Happiness is merely a feeling, often brought on by the ego fulfilling its own goals. If all you want out of life is to be happy, that's easy. Listen to what society tells you and follow the path it wants you to follow. Feel free to indulge in entertainment for hours every day, living stagnantly for the rest of your life. You'll be happy when your favorite TV show comes on, or when your wife gives you a good time in bed. When you buy a nice sports car you'll be thrilled.

But at the end of the day, what's the point? No, happiness is not enough for me. I seek to become fulfilled. I seek to achieve. I seek to understand. When I'm old in my bed, about to push off, I don't want to think to myself, "what the hell happened?" I want to think to myself, "man, I really lived."

I would not call sucess getting women...That is base line....We are meant to have sex, so getting women is just average as far as I am concerned.

But this brings forth another issue.
Has culture been wussified so much that we have forgotten what is important? But that is not here nor there...I'll leave it for the next world:)
