I simply tell myself that this is a temporary situation.

We always end up meeting the next girl in our lives..

However.. Being on your own makes you a stronger man.. Codependency is always a downfall.

Soulforge,

Loneliness is a REAL epidemic in the United States.

It's only been recently that you begin to hear them say much about it on the various media platforms.

I have found that Loneliness (and depression) can often stem from disappointment, a chronic sense of failure, and/or all-consuming selfishness (usually brought on by an unhealthy and overwhelming preoccupation with MYSELF and my own problems).

How I have overcome this (and have helped other men overcome this) is by looking at the "big picture', mentally reliving my past successes to inspire myself towards NEW successes, and last but not least: By going on some dedicated Mission of SERVICE to "other" people (rather than just myself...).

I did at least 3 broadcasts where I have addressed the subjects of loneliness, depression, overwhelm, and finding the NEXT good woman.

It's possible one or two of them may HELP some of the SoSuave Soldiers here---if they are in need of some encouragement:

Mission #4 – Objective: Hardcore HOPE for lonely, depressed, and frustrated men EVERYWHERE!

Mission #6 – Objective: The New Year “NEW BABE” Launch!

Mission #33 - Objective: Where Eagles Dare! (How to be a Good Man in a Storm)

PEACE.

I used to feel lonely some years ago, in the sense that I felt down about it. One day I shifted my view on it, the feeling of loneliness went away even though I was objectively just as much alone. I started appreciating being alone, it's a freedom.

Some people feel lonely even when in almost constant company. Loneliness is a mental state. You can choose to see it negatively or you can choose to see it positively.

I personally enjoy alone time, it's weird for me that some people don't see the incredible value in it. I welcome it rather than try to avoid it. I wasn't this happy when I tried avoiding loneliness, it was better to embrace it.

I honestly don't really feel it. I was an only child and as such I LOVE my own space, if I'm in a RS or even seriously seeing a chick it cuts down on my alone time which makes me really itchy. Even if I REALLY like a girl after like 24 hours with her in my head I'm thinking please go away for a couple of days now.

Honestly as a man your life should really be so full and busy that you are struggling for time to fit women into it, between my business, going to the gym, surfing and drinking with the boys I have very very little free time.

The other upside is when your time is limited you won't waste it on low quality trollopes. What's that saying "the devil makes work for idle hands" something like that.

Loneliness oozes neediness.

I find...The best way to not be lonely, is to have a lot of stuff going on.

Make yourself, too busy, to be alone.

I know that I will be in another relationship but loneliness is very difficult for me and I struggle with it all the time in spite of having packed up schedule with work-related stuff and self-development stuff.

You need to build proper social circle to fight it off and it's not that easy when you are 34 and still quite fresh in a new city - not to mention I'm workaholic (I escaped into work after my crashed relationship with BPD ex) so I often feel lonely and detached when my day at work ends.

Since my relationship with BPD I was only in STRs.

I have very small circle of male friends here where I live (2-3 persons), the pro is that I built up my LMS considerably in the last two years and it's still going up.

However my overall health deteriorated a bit and I cannot fight off the insomnia - still get flashbacks from my old LTR. Never from STRs. Feeling of selfhate comes back and forth like a wave. I'd pay for a week of great quality of sleep.
You sound exactly like my best friend. He went through depression a few years ago and suffered from insomnia as well . The problem is he never really spoke up about his loneliness/depression that resulted from a bad breakup from a 5 year relationship. I did the usual of coming around more and taking him out more but also had a lot going on in my life. He seeked out help and went to therapy and eventually managed to get over it but it took awhile for him to be more like himself again.

Can you tell us more about what is going on? Severity?
Im supposed to be heading to Hanoi early spring and im gathering as much info as possible.
Well...the virus comes from a biochemical lab in Wuhan built by the Chinese military. The timing on CYN is no coincidence I'm. Wuhan officials appear to have purposely with head info in the beginning stages as it spread and 5 million Wuhan residents evaded lockdown and are now all over China.

Hong Kong just shut it's borders off... so has Malaysia and Macau. Although the latter two may only be for anyone with Wuhan connections, not sure. CNY will be over soon then everyone comes back from their hometowns to the big tier 1 cities they work and live at. **** is about to get real. Numbers of reported infected grew by 65 percent today and China is understating all of these numbers I'm.

O
What about the Vietnam border? Can you keep your eye on that? We have family there.

Oh....I haven't heard anything specifically, but I do know in another week or so once CNY is officially over this thing is going to explode unless they get it under control now.

The Vietnam border is Yunnan province I believe. That's mostly a pretty rural area with the exception of kunming. I'd say if they are in a small town there it should be safe as long as they don't travel.

Best advice I follow is to always live with some roommates. Dont rent on your own in a studio flat. That way you'lle never feel lonely because you have a close network of guys you can always talk to. I can't stress how important this is, especially if you just moved into a new city.

Theylle invite you out to places they are going to as well, and youlle be exposed to their friends which expands your social circle.

Basically do anything that improves your social life. The more social you are, the quicker and luckier you will be in finding your next girl.

This having a good circle of friend that you meet often will take care of it.

The panic over this is nothing short of ridiculous for something with a mortality rate of somewhere well under 1% when you factor in how many more people have been infected than have been reported since many of them either have no symptoms or minor symptoms and infections have been estimated to be at least 10x what has been reported. The mortality rate is around 3% but factoring in 10x the number of people you are looking at 0.3%.

Not very potent. MERS is far more deadly with a mortality rate of 30%. SARS had a mortality rate of 10%. The panic over this is far greater and the mortality rate is much lower...makes zero sense.

The flu is far more dangerous and kills far more people but yet nobody worries about it.

I view time by myself as a gift. I work on my hobbies or pickup new once. I also love to go on walks or in nature by myself and just think about life or anything that I find interesting. Loneliness really is just a state of mind and as such we have the power to change it into something beautiful for us.

Find out what true solitude is. I once went five days without seeing or speaking to another human being. Lived under a temporary structure.

You would be surprised by what you discover. The should be a forest reasonably close to you. Try it.

I would need to ask define loneliness,

if being alone is that then I like it, lol no joke I like to be alone doing my things, reading, playing whatever, dealing with people is tiresome, so as long you just don't lock yourself in your room and still amke some friends you won't have any problem, shouldn't have problem

If they're lying about the number infected they're DEFINATELY lying about the mortality rate.... There are more dead than recovered as of now.

A lot of folks here will poo-poo the idea, but escortMAXing takes the edge off for me. It has easily been my go-to anti-depressant. I would be the total symp I used to be before taking this path of therapy.
