You can't change other people. They can only change themselves.
The only thing you can do is stand up for yourself and not take any **** because you are Asian, or for any other reason. Stand up for yourself and don't let them walk all over you. They might still hate you after, but at least you got the people's respect.

My advice is just be yourself, you will never really know what other people think of you, but the only person who you need to make happy is you, and if you are happy in time those who do like you will reveal themselves.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
