How do you do it when you are already labeled as the beta male? Do you just pick on the alpha and beat him with your wit?

Take control of conversatins between your group, neg the alpha and always make yourself look like your having the most fun in the group. Make the group revolve around you.

That, and be better at stuff. Even better if you become better with motivations besides being alpha. Do alphas even try to become alphas or are they just alphas?

This is risky stuff:
Mostly you are a member of a popular\semi-popular group. If the alpha will feel threatend he will atack back and most likely you will be laguhed of the other members of the gruop and you won't be invited to parties (if the current alpha is "strong" enough).

BUT, if you don't challange the alpha but just take control of the group and treat the alpha like a beta and show some leading skills you can take over the group.

REMBER:It's not easy and if you will do it stuipidtly you will lose you rank but if you will do it right than you are one step close to be a DJ.
