"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I usually find another one and remind myself that time heals all:)

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Dancing with the Devil by the pale moonlight.
I tend to go AFC and be borderline psychotic for a month or 3.
Thinking about changing up my routine.

These things have happened to me while going through transitionary periods where I was under a lot of stress from work or something, which made dealing with rejection that much more difficult.

Lately I have been focussing on making myself a better man and as stable as I can be with work, my living arrangements, and finances, etc. KNowing that when push comes to shove that the statistics show people will fold on you has taught me alot. I'm not letting it make me become jaded like some people. Instead I'm using it to empower myself while restoring my faith that I will eventually meet someone I can reproduce with who is better for me than the flakes I have been with.

Anyway, I've noticed I always seem to find better ones after 4-5 months when I start eating normally and looking normal again. I always come to the conclusion that it is their loss, even if I have to restructure my life and who I am in order to make that a reality.

I usually start seeing things more clearly about the person and then laugh at those things and ask myself what was I thinking.

At the most sometimes have to break complete contact with the person and avoid seeing them anyway possible, but that's only happened once. I'm on pretty good terms with all but one of my exes.

First, I tell her that she can't fire me because I quit. Then I tell her I was banging her friends anyway. Or at least that I had been screwing around the whole time. I smoke a blunt and I laugh at HER thinking of all she is missing out on. Then I tell all of my friends that she was a slut. Kind of childish, but I don't care. Afterwards, I delete her # from my phone, and ignore the fact that she exists or ever existed from that point on. If she calls me to ask how I'm doing, I'll tell her she must have the wrong number. If she stops by my house, I'll answer the door and say something about "damn neighbor kids door ditchin sonofa***** grumble grumble yadda" and walk back inside.

In the mean time, I call one of the plates that I had already been spinning (important lesson here guys), and get some head to ease the pain.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
