"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

How do guys who are druggies always seem to get girls who aren't druggies?

It's project mentality. Women are thinking, "I can fix him." I know a girl who has a crush on a homeless guy. I told her it was project mentality, and she agreed.

To be fair, men who act as Captain Save-a-Ho are very similar.

there still has to be attraction for the guy by the woman, she isn't going to get turned on by some fat slob thinking she can "fix him" to get him into shape.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Drug addicts can be fun. Fun and drugs are not mutually exclusive. If anything the opposite.

I've never been good with drugs personally they make me even more awkward than I already am. But I've done them enough and been around MORE than enough people to know that it heightens the good times and good vibes more often than not. There's a reason they are addictive after all.

Younger girls don't mind as much about a guy's present or future earnings potential. They live in the moment and a lot of these guys have good moments.

Dealers are social conduits in a sense and can add that chaos element, plus there's the taboo of it being illegal etc.

If you are a coke dealer forget about it. You can have a small harem of women.

The reality is that you shouldn't be looking for drug user as a partner even if it is short term. The exception for me is weed but even then it's got to be a once in a blue moon type deal where the person doesn't do it but if they're an a music event they partake.

Women who are doing blow X heroin pills etc are quite dangerous for a variety of reasons: disease, mental illness, theft, etc not to mention you have to question they're ability to plan have kids etc.

Don't get me wrong most women have done some drugs at one time or another but the issue if they are still doing it or they use drugs to have fun.

OP's question translates well to: What does she have that I don't?

Except this is okay for a girl to ask herself, they are insecure anyway and it's fine, because insecurity is a feminine trait. I understand, the druggie gets the chicks thing is more of an annoyance, but it's got exactly the same roots, there is jealousy and insecurity in it. Cherish the day when you will be out of fvcks to give, because that day, you will be a happy alpha. Look around you, the world isn't fair, people seldom seem to get what they deserve, constantly asking why did he get this and I didn't, why did they take him not me, why, why... it would drive you insane and depressed and even if you knew every single answer, it wouldn't help you forward.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

This is the answer, I think. People on drugs can be very charismatic, they can get pumped up or feel great beyond what the normal person does, and the women buy into that.
