I think funny and humor are the most important things to become a DJ. Not like clown or a goof or someone who just shouts random **** i mean like funny. Like Dave Chappelle or Bill Lawerence, and i believe being funny is the hardest thing to become, because it's not like the more you practice the better you get. If you dont believe me look at all the old comedians we use to think were funny and how no a days they try and make a joke and you hear crickets in the backround. So i wanted to know everyone's 2 cents on becoming funny or being funny, because to me it's more crucial then confidence, and its the hardest thing to become.

Man, I've read people giving you excellent advice on how to be funnier, why do you keep bringing it up? If it were important to getting laid, there would be a dozen topics on it a day.

Because a precusor to funny is confidence... the humour aspect does get underplayed, but humour is so often situational, that's why it's called a sense of humour that it really is difficult to teach someone humour especially in text form, that I can understand why there are so few threads.Serialized3 said:

You're pretty young man, and I can tell you from my experience that being funny isn't the most important thing at all in picking up women. Its helps to build a social circle, will make you more popular, and will get you more friends who are girls (as opposed to girlfriends, ie sex), but it isn't really that important in getting laid. The biggest pimps I know aren't funny at all. Confidence is the best thing to have. I know lots of funny guys who don't get girls. Girls usually say they want a funny guy but thats usually a lie. Humor can definitley help you though if used correctly. Like the others said do not act like a clown. Being silly and goofy doesn't help. They will probably like you but only as a friend. Silly and goofy isn't considered sexy. Secondly don't try to make a joke every sentence. You should throw in a joke every now and again but its not necessary to make a joke everytime you open your mouth. Thirdly just combine your humor and flirting together to make a deadly combo. I used to be the guy in class in high school who just made jokes all the time and made everyone laugh but I never got girls besides like once haha and she was really hot. There are some girls I have seen though that date guys who weren't all that attarctive but the guys were really funny. Theres always a couple of girls who like that but majority girls don't want that. After high school though I changed my ways. I started to be less goofy and silly and become more ****y funny and not joke as much and then I got a lot more girls.
And I'm telling you from experience that if she isn't laughing once in a while or she isn't smiling, then you will NOT get laid. If she's not having fun with you, you aren't getting laid. PERIOD. Oh, sometimes you can get by on pure sexuality, but it's the exception rather than the rule.L777 said:
