There's a couple of things we know about this guy. One is that he's the father of modern psychology and from what we know is that his women patients would fall in love with him. Gives me a reason to Major in Psychology:crazy: yea right. Do you guys think that his explanation of ego and super ego have some merit and some sort of use when attracting HB9's ?

Personally I believe that the psych major's of the world are at a loss when attracting HB9's of the world.

Robert Greene has a better explanation of how people work dealing with different personalities like the Dandee, The Star, etc. Knowing what type of girl you are dealing with definitely puts you a couple of steps ahead in affairs of the heart. This can be subject of debate.

Freud was a recognized authority who talked to people about their personal problems, using methods that, at the time, were considered "mystical." The kind of stuff Ross Jeffries called "Chick crack."

Just by walking into his office, people felt trust, rapport and his authority, as well as walking into a world where normal "rules" don't really apply.

The short answer that that academic prowess is only a part of the equation. Plus the guy didn't devote part of his life to studying any specific goal regarding women; "understanding women" isn't exactly a tangible goal to work towards.
